My Bio
I'm a 28-year-old self-employed female of mixed-racial background, currently residing in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA. I've lived in this region all of my life. Hopefully sometime soon, I'll join the railroad industry, en route to becoming a locomotive engineer. I love trains a lot! My most favorite trains are Metra trains, and my most favorite locomotive of all is METX #210. I grew up within walking distance of four railroads on the westside of Chicago, so I've been around trains almost all of my life. I've been planning on becoming a member of deviantart for some time, but never got the opportunity to do so until today. Some of the artwork you will see from me will involve trains, or random drawings that I've done in the past.

IT IS TITLED "EMPTY HEART" AND JUST LIKE THE PREVIOUS POEM I SUBMITTED, IT CAN BE TIED TO MY PRESENT-DAY FEELINGS TOWARDS FINDING MR. RIGHT. HEY, IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, THANKS TO THE WAY PEOPLE ARE THESE DAYS. I'M MUCH BETTER OFF GIVING ALL OF MY HEART TO THAT LOCOMOTIVE INSTEAD OF A PHONY MAN!

THE FOLLOWING IS A POEM THAT I WROTE IN THE SUMMER OF 2008 TITLED "FAKE LOVER." I COPIED IT FROM MY XANGA PAGE AND POSTED IT HERE. THE WORDS CLEARLY DEFINE THE WOMAN I AM TO THIS VERY DAY. IF YOU EVER WONDERED WHY I GIVE ALL OF MY LOVE TO THE LOCOMOTIVE METRA #210 INSTEAD OF A MAN, IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HURT, LIED TO, AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF WAYYYY TOO MANY TIMES TO EVER GIVE MY HEART OVER TO A LYING, DENYING, CHEATING, CONTROLLING, SEX-CRAVING, RAPING, PHONY MAN! THOSE DAYS ARE OVER FOREVER!

Unfortunately, it's hard to get in because the hiring personnel are so picky. I knew that beforehand, but I took my chances. I will reapply soon. Go to the websites of the railroads that serve your area and see if they are hiring, and for what positions. Hopefully you will find something that interests you. Good luck!
